Blogrolling: A day late and a dollar short

So apparently yesterday was a good day to add blogs to one's blogroles. Comrade PhysioProf decided that mine was a pretty kick ass blog to link to - thanks. But he also linked to some other pretty great blogs......

First up, I'll mention Renegade Evolution, a sex worker's rights blogger. I will probably blog about this on occasion, but I'm not very oriented on politics here, except as it relates specifically to addiction and substance use issues. I usually save the political discussions for comment threads on other people's blogs.

I will however state categorically that I am very much a believer in sex worker's rights. I believe that what a person does with their own body is there own damned business. If you want to go out and have Teh Sex for money, that damn well should be your right and I absolutely support it.

For those who participate in currently legal sex trades, I offer my support as well. I don't believe that you're doing anything immoral, sinful or disgusting. Human beings are very sexual creatures and the notion of dispareging anyone for profiting from that is hypocritical to the extreme.

Methinks I may really have to do a post on sex work. Dammit. So much to write, so little damned time.

Then we come to The Barefoot Bum, who gets into political philosophy. I really, really wish that I hadn't discovered this blog, because I can foresee spending way too much time there. I am certainly not on BB's page when it comes to political philosophical preferences, but I really like his level of discourse. And I already dove in headfirst, into a discussion on lefty politics, versus communist politics - our venerable host there is a communist.

And of course there's Juniper Shoemaker, who is already greatly appreciated here. Not to mention being the subject of a bit of a crush on my part. I mean she's got it all. She's got a very sexy intellect, she swoons over guys who can't help being just a little too stuffy sometimes, she's a geek as well as a nerd, she loves Edwardian tea gowns and to top it all off, she's really hot. A win all around in my book.

As well, we have discovered Behind the Stick.....A felt hat hater with a blog. (who also tends bar and writes interesting posts about it) This has all the markings of being a big fun blog, if you can get past the anti-felt hat bigotry.

There were some others listed at Physio-profs and I highly recommend checking them out. I will probably get around to it, if I can get some of the school type work I'm supposed to be doing done.

You may be interested to know that Comrade PhysioProf linked to you because he was participating in Blogroll Amnesty Day, which is officially February 3, though many are celebrating early. I hope you will join us in the celebration. You can read about it here and here.

Du Wayne: Thanks for mentioning me on your blog and thank you also for paying a visit to mine. I will try and make any future visits worth your blog-filled time. And as far as the "felt hat" thing goes, I'm dealing with it in therapy and hope to be able to put one on by spring. Fingers crossed!!!
All the best,
Scribbler

Hey scribbler50, I will hold you to making them interesting, but I doubt that will be much trouble for you.

Thank you for repeatedly calling attention to MFS, DuWayne. I'm glad you are a fan of me and my blog, and I will try to do this fandom justice.

You know, it's a pity that you live thousands of miles away from me. I shall simply have to console myself with the attentions of lesser but more locally-situated men. ;)

Please be careful Juniper, my already inflated ego may not handle the overload.
